Australia 2010 Video Diary: Day In The Life At Jillaroo School

Hi everybody, this is my video diary coming
from Jillaroo School here in this beautiful ranch called ‘Garrawilla’ in a place called
Bingara, which is in New South Wales not far from Tamworth and I am here on a week long
course with all these wonderful horses and we are riding them, learning how to trot and
canter and muster up cattle – that’s what we’ve been doing today. We’ve just got back
from a four hour cattle mustering exercise on this gorgeous Monday afternoon. Yesterday,
we started just getting used to our horses, my horse is ‘Grace’ she’s over there somewhere
– the black horse, she’s gorgeous….and I’ve been learning how to trot and canter on her,
doing some really cool stuff and…..yeah it’s pretty dirty, but I got a bit of a sore
bum, a bit of saddle soreness…but I’m here for another three days and we should be learning
how to do some whip cracking and lassoing and yard work and be doing some more horse
riding so….we’ll see how we go really….but its a beautiful ranch and we’re breaking in
some horses aswell so roll on day three…
