You see them everywhere in barns across the
country. Supplement buckets. They may seem innocent enough, but as I’ve
come to learn, there’s a dark tale under every lid. It started one month when my bucket ran out
earlier than I was expecting. It should have been a 56 day supply and it lasted maybe 30.
At that point, I started to suspect everyone. So, I set up web cams in the feed room, in
the tack room, and in the aisle. I’d stay up until one in the morning watching tape
from that day, just to see if I could track down who was stealing my supplements. And then one day, my barn manager left me
a note and said that the supplement had actually spilled last month. It was just an accident.
But it was too late. I had alienated all my friends, I had lost my job, I lost my ability
to trust. If you or someone you know is being affected
by buckets, don’t give up hope. Visit SmartPak.com to find your life beyond
buckets. For Equestrian News Nightly, I’m Barbara Halters.
Good night and have a great ride.
