Normally when you hear about ice at the airport it’s not a good thing, until now! Here for the holidays, one classic Colorado winter activity is coming to town for travelers. Hey, there! I’m traveling Jules. And this is the new ice skating rink at the Denver International Airport. Hello! Hello! (laughs) They’ve got figure
skates and hockey skates, your choice. Ready for action! Here in the open-air plaza, just outside of the main terminal, you can stash your stuff
and get on the ice. Woohoo! And best of all, it’s free! The skates are free, admission is free, it’s all free. And anyone can do it, like these flight attendants who sneak in a few laps
before catching their flight. Second time. These guys are going backwards. Woohoo!
You gotta challenge yourself. (laughs) Oh my god. He’s a proper ice dancer, over there. I’m watching his moves. ♫ La, la, la, la I’m not making it look very good. Rest assured, there’s an event attendant here on ice to show you some moves and of course, help you get your bearings. I’m having so much fun! Denver! None of this would be possible without United, who sponsors the ice skating rink. So whether you make a special trip, or have got some time to kill at the airport, take a spin at the new ice skating rink. Tada! (laughs) Thank you. Love your enthusiasm! High five! The ice rink is open from nine a.m. to nine p.m. Through the first of January. Happy skating!
