Harwich Soft Leather Half Chap Review

EMILY: Hi, I’m Emily from Marketing, and today,
I’m reviewing the Harwich Soft Leather Half Chap. What I love most about these half chaps is
how soft the leather is. As soon as you take these out of the package, you’re going to
feel it and notice it, and they really contour and mold right to your leg. When I first got
these, they were a little snug, so I did have to work a little harder to get into them,
but after two or three rides with the soft leather, they just fit my leg perfectly and
it looks like a custom look. From far away, you wouldn’t be able to tell that I’m wearing
half chaps and paddock boots, it looks like tall boots. A nice feature of these half chaps is the
two snaps at the top and bottom. They’re really cute, they have the SmartPak logo on them,
but they also keep the zipper in place and create a nice seamless look. They’re also
incredibly sturdy. These also zip from the top to the bottom, which makes getting them
on and off easier, and it’s a nice, wide YKK zipper, so I don’t feel like I’m going to
have any problems with it breaking. Another nice design element of these half
chaps is the cut back behind the ankle. This allows for your spur to be right up on your
boot without any of that extra material. Another thing you’ll notice about these half
chaps is that they have a snug elastic band at the bottom. It fits perfectly up in the
arch and isn’t scuffing around the barn or getting caught on anything. For extra durability, these also have a reinforcement
patch on the inside of the leg. I ride in these two to three times a week and you can
see there’s hardly any wear and tear. These half chaps also have a discrete stretch panel
at the back. We do have a sizing chart online to help you find the perfect size Harwich
Half Chaps for you, but as always with our sized items, we have free return shipping,
so if you get them home and they’re not the right fit, you can send them back at no cost. Care on these is really simple. Just wipe
down with a leather cleaner. I condition once in a while and it’s kept them in great shape. These are perfect for anyone who’s looking
for an alternative for tall boots. I found that I was wearing my tall boots all the time
and was getting a lot of wear and tear and because those are so expensive, I wasn’t really
happy with that. So, I started riding again in half chaps and paddock boots, and they’ve
really become my go-to for schooling. I’m Emily, and the Harwich Soft Leather Half
Chaps are going to give you a custom look and an exceptional feel at an amazing price.
