Herm Sprenger Ultra Fit Extra Grip Comfort Roller Spur Review

CHRIS: Hi, I’m Chris from Merchandising, and
today I’ll be reviewing the Herm Sprenger Ultra Fit Extra Grip Comfort Roller Spurs. What I love about these spurs is that the
roller is actually set horizontally instead of vertically, which my horse seems to prefer. Because the roller is smooth on the edges
– it has no pointy spots – you’re not accidentally jabbing your horse. In terms of what they feel like when I wear
them, they are so well-balanced and extremely comfortable. What differentiates these spurs from any other
brand out there is that Herm Sprenger has an ultra fit extra grip technology. So if you look right here, you’ll notice that
where your spur straps come out are at an angle. Every time you put them on, they sit on your
boot perfectly. Also, they are covered in rubber. So what that does is the rubber sits on the
outside of your boot and you don’t get scuff marks, which I really, really love. Because it doesn’t have any blunt edges or
any sharp edges, it’s really great on horses, because when you use it you don’t get the
horse that’s jumping out of its skin. Usually after I ride, I just take a brush,
brush off any dirt. Then I follow it up with a soft cloth where
I just wipe all over. It keeps my spurs looking new, and that keeps
me very happy. These spurs are available in two different
lengths. They come in a 25mm and also a 30. I actually own both, and depending on time
of year and, really, how fresh my horse is pretty much determines which one I use. I’m Chris, and the Herm Sprenger Ultra Fit
Extra Grip Comfort Roller Spurs are the bomb.
