Don’t forget, this is an interactive video, when ever you see this symbol, click for more info! Hi and welcome back to Kat’s Closet. Now, autumn is well and truly upon us and I’ve got some looks to keep you and your man looking stylish for the fall. So I’m going to show you cosy casual wear that will have you nailing this seasons trends in style! I’ll be showing you how to get these three great looks. It can be so easy to stick to dark colours when the weather turns, but I like to add a little brightness to my autumn daytime wear. So, I’m going to start with these! And I have the lovely Ashley here to help me. While Ashley is doing that, I’m going to grab a couple of bits to pull the outfit together. Statement trousers are still everywhere, but I’ve decided to go for autumnal colour with this fab orange pair. Chunky cardigans are a wardrobe essential. I’ve put it over a simple stripped t-shirt just to bring it all together. But what I
think it really needs is an extra layer to keep you super toasty. Layering is key for winter and it’s about choosing key, great standout pieces that are going to lift your daytime casual wardrobe. This is a brilliant choice. It’s got fringing at the bottom and the fairisle print is key for this season. Flip it over the shoulder and you can keep nice and toasty. And of course, every out door outfit needs a great pair of boots! Now I’ve gone for this seasons riding boot. These ones are lovely, they have a cute stud detailing on the toe and they’re going to be brilliant for all those winter walks. Once again I’ve used a lovely autumnally tone trouser as a base for the outfit. Now I keep talking about it, but layering really is big for this season and this pop of check here at the collar really gives a rustic twist that is perfect for 2012. This outfit defiantly needs a coat and I have just the thing. As far as I’m concerned there isn’t anybody who won’t look cute in a classic preppy duffle coat. I love the wooden toggles here and the warm mix of the fabric makes this a brilliant winter buy. Finish it off with a classic ankle boot that’s going to keep your feet warm and dry. Now we’re done with the girls, thank you very much Ashley, we’ll get Ben in to show you how to dress the guys. Just like with the girls, it’s all about the Heritage Trend. English Heritage looks are always big around this time of year but especially this season and it’s a great look for guys. Sometimes denim just can’t be beaten and these ones are brilliant, they’ve already got that washed out feeling that is so perfect
for the Heritage trend and they’ve got some great detailing like the leather trim on the coin pocket. And the check turn-ups that really add to the designer feel. I’ve gone for a classic denim shirt, but the print gives it a real 2012 twist. Once it gets a lot colder, you can always layer over a t-shirt. Now with this shirt, I’d go for a mild grey colour. It will finish it off beautifully. Parker’s are a classic! And are the perfect winter coat for guys. This one is fully lined, the fur trim gives it that Heritage feel and it’s got a button and a zip for extra warmth. I’ve finished off with these classic brogue ankle boots which are the perfect choice for autumn. I love the distressed feel of this boot, it gives a great English county vibe.
