Siem Reap day 4: horse riding, cocktail making and Song Kra partying

Today is the fourth day, and we are off to the Old Market. We have a late start because of the sunrise tour yesterday. Today is a relaxed day. We are at the Artisan Village in Siem Reap, The things here are super pretty but a bit expensive. but they are buying something in support of the local economy. How many soaps are you buying? Lorraine: like 20 So we just got changed and then we are headed off to Happy Ranch. To do 2 hours of horse riding. So we are Happy Ranch ready to ride, there is Kelly with her white horse. We are going to a pagoda as the first stop of our horse riding. I’m excited. We are at the first stop, the Pagoda, I don’t know if you can hear me over the music. But they are having a dance party. Cambodia style, Lorraine: Like a DJ So we did some trotting and we are on our way back to the farm. It was great fun, Kitty’s horse keeps going off and it’s hilarious. So we are off from dinner and this is the last day of Song Kra. The waterfight is still going on and as you can see, I’m really wet. But this time, I wore swimwear. So we just walked through Pub street and got a face full of baby powder, I think I’ve eaten a lot, and now we are trying to find a safe place to get a tuk tuk back home. Song Kra is insane in Siem Reap – who’d have thought?

  1. It looks like a busy but fun day! I do enjoy your videos, they really capture the atmosphere and like how you explain what is happening.

  2. It looks like you had a blast in Siem Reap. I am going here for Christmas so I am glad to see what there is to do there

  3. Looks like a rollicking (and way too wet) good time on pub street. Did you already visit Angkor Wat before your day of horse back riding and partying or did you have to wake up really early the next morning to catch the sunrise?

  4. Looks like you had an amazing day.Markets, dance party and cocktail classes, what more could you ask for? Love the horseback riding into the sunset, that was so gorgeous! What a fun day!
