IT IS FREEDOM, IT IS LIBERATION, AND FOR MANY OF THESE RIDER IT IS LIFE-SAVING. >>SHE WAS BORN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY AND SHE HAS SPEECH IMPAIRMENT. EIGHT YEARS AGO SHE STARTED WRITING AND NOW SHE SPEAKS FLUENTLY. FOUR LAUREN HAS BEEN RIDING HORSES FOR MOST OF HER LIFE, AND LITTLE LONGER THAN MacKENZIE. JASON HAS EVEN WON AWARDS, PRETTY INCREDIBLE CONSIDERING DOCTORS TOLD HIS FAMILY HE WOULD NEVER WALK OR TALK. >>IT HELPS ME TO BE STRONG. >>THE FIRST TIME YOU SIT THERE WITH WHITE KNUCKLES. THE HORSES JUST DO SOMETHING PEOPLE CAN’T. THEY SPEAK A LANGUAGE. THEY ARE VERY NONJUDGMENTAL. SOMEONE TRYING TO LEARN TO MAKE EYE CONTACT, IT CAN BE VERY DIFFICULT FOR SOME PEOPLE. THEY CAN LOOK AT A HORSE AND NOT WORRY ABOUT THAT JUDGMENT AND THE AND TRANSLATE THAT WITH OTHER PEOPLE. FOUR WHEN YOU KNOW YOU’VE DONE A GOOD JOB YOU CAN’T HELP BUT SMILE. I JUST LOVE THIS STORY.
