What better way to bond with the kids than with a day of roller skating?   Tori Spelling and Teddi Mellencamp enjoyed a day with their families at the roller rink on Friday    The actress, 46, and reality star, 38, headed to the Rainbow Surprise Rollerskating Party in Los Angeles, where they doted on their skating children Joining the star-studded guest list was Ashley Tisdale, who looked happy to enjoy a day off from her music career to hit the rink The High School Musical actress wore a tropical print shirt, cropped jeans, and ponytail while lacing up her skates   Share this article Share Tori and Teddi proved to be every inch the adoring mothers while bonding with their boys  The former 90210 actress carefully guided her skating son Beau, two, across the rink, holding onto him at all times to ensure he maintained his balance   She was joined by her husband Dean McDermott, who was every bit the fun dad while carrying their son around on the rink and striking silly poses with the youngster  Meanwhile, Teddi, who is expecting her third child with husband Edwin Arroyave, kept her sneakers on as she headed to the rink The expecting mother held her son Cruz’s hand as he skated around.   She lavished her son with affection, at one point giving him a kiss  Teddi was joined by her husband Edwin and their two children, Cruz, five, and Slate, seven, for the fun day  The outing was undoubtedly a fun one for everyone involved, most especially Tori   After her show BH90210 was cancelled, a day with loved ones was well in order for the star  Fox announced it had canceled the revival after just one season. ‘We are so proud to have reunited in a very special summer event one of the network’s legacy series and casts with 90210 fans across the country,’ the network said in a statement ‘Profound thanks to and respect for Brian [Austin Green], Gabrielle [Carteris], Ian [Ziering], Jason [Priestley], Jennie [Garth], Shannen [Doherty] and Tori [Spelling], who, along with the entire crew and everyone at FOX and CBS Television Studios, poured their hearts and souls into this truly inventive and nostalgic revival,’ the statement added according to an article by The Hollywood Reporter
