Tredstep Medici FIeld Boot Review

DANIELLE: Hi, I’m Danielle
from Marketing, and today I’ll be reviewing the Tredstep Medici
Field Boots. I bought these tall boots after
not really showing for a year and realizing that my custom
tall boots no longer fit and I couldn’t really justify
spending the money on another pair of customs when I don’t
really show as much as I used to. So I came across
these boots and fell in love with the way they fit.
I honestly feel like I’m wearing a pair of custom tall boots
and I’ve gotten so many compliments at horse shows about
how good they look on my legs. The leather is so soft.
They were really easy to break in and not painful at all.
It took about two weeks of wearing them every day
for them to be fully broken in. And now that they are I only
wear them when I horse show. One of the things that really
differentiates these boots from others is they’re made
from really high quality calf skin leather which really makes
them feel like custom boots. Another great thing
is the stretch panel on the outside of the zipper
that helps make them fit like a glove.
Another great thing about these boots is they have TMI insoles
which mold to your foot and make it really comfortable to wear
these all day. They also have closures at
the top and bottom of the zippers to help keep
the dirt out. These boots would be perfect
for any rider looking to show at any level, but not looking
to spend a lot of money. I’m really particular
when it comes to caring for my tall boots so I don’t actually
ever put leather cleaner on these.
When I’m cleaning them I wipe them down with a damp sponge
after riding and then I polish the heck out of them before
a horse show and love how shiny this leather gets.
When ordering these boots, you’ll pick three things:
you’ll pick the foot size, the calf size, and the height.
For most boots, I wear seven and a half size shoe and that’s what
I wear in these. For the calf size,
I went with a size regular. I have pretty skinny ankles but
about an average size calf which is why it’s so hard for me
to wear stock boots. But the great thing about these
is the ankle is really contoured so it makes them fit
really great. For the height, I went with a tall.
I’m about 5′ 7″ and even after the boots dropped they still fit
really great. If you have any trouble figuring
out your size you can check out our video on how to fit your
tall boots. I’m Danielle, and the Tredstep Medici Field
Boots make me feel like I’m wearing custom boots without
having to pay for it.
